Following on from the great performances of 2019, the Junior Country Championship (JCC) dates and venues have been announced by Hockey Victoria for 2020. This competition brings together all the country regions to play off against each other to be crowned the Country champions.and showcase the skills of Victorian players.

EVENT DETAILS
When: May 16th and 17th, 2020. Note: HB will not have any scheduled events that weekend, so all juniors are welcome to nominate themselves for a team.
Where: Held at a number of hockey venues in Melbourne.
Who: JCC has 3 ages groups, and separate Male/Female junior teams – U13, U15 and U18.

HOW TO BECOME INVOLVED?
Organiser: Hockey Ballarat puts together a team of selected players who form a team and travel to Melbourne by team bus. Players, parents, and coaches have a dinner on the Saturday night to promote the social nature of the event.
Training and Selection: The pitch has been booeked on the following dates, between 9-12noon (U13 at 9-10am, U15 at 10-11am, and U18 at 11-12 noon): Sunday 16th February, Sunday 1st March, Sunday 15th March, Sunday 29th March. Players wishing to participate need to turn up to these sessions.
